Red Hook High School Library, 103 West Market Street, Red Hook, NY 12571
The library is open during school days, Monday-Thursday 7:40 am - 3:15 pm and Friday 7:40 am - 2:21 pm. Students may visit the library as a group with their class, or they may come individually from study hall, lunch, or after-school. To visit the library for the period, students must report to their study hall for attendance or go eat lunch first. If the library is closed for a class, it will usually still be open for students to take make-up exams.
An appointment may be made for remote or in-person help between 7:40 a.m. to 2:21 p.m. Monday through Friday by sending Mrs. Sasvary an email or a Teams chat or by stopping into the library to schedule a visit.
Home access to the library media center resources is available through the Red Hook High School Library website. Some subscription databases require access codes, which are accessible via ClassLink. Additionally, a list of login information is posted in the files section of the RHHS Library Help & Resources Team. Please contact us about any problems accessing resources from home.
Students may sign up to visit the library during lunch or they may request a pass to the library from their study hall or classroom teacher. The library is also open after school. Books may be requested for pickup in the library or delivered to homeroom using the Library Catalog. The loan period for most materials is three weeks, and renewals are usually available as long the item is not requested by others.
