Posted Date: 07/09/26 (12:00 PM)

The Red Hook Central School District is seeking a new Director of Pupil Personnel, as Amanda Allison will be leaving the district at the end of this month for a new opportunity.
Our Pupil Personnel Services Department is responsible for providing a wide range of programs and services to students with learning differences, and we are actively searching for the best candidate to continue that important work.
In her time with us, Amanda made valuable contributions to our district in the areas of special education curriculum, instruction and family engagement, notably launching the Parents as Partners workshop series in which she connected families with experts in a range of targeted topics.
Amanda’s expertise will certainly be missed, and we sincerely appreciate all she has contributed. We are pleased to announce that our amazing Pupil Personnel Services team of special education teachers, counselors, therapists, and support staff remain in place to aid families. And, the department’s longtime leader, Jack Costello, will be returning as interim director until a new director is found, ensuring a smooth transition as we prepare for the fall.
We wish Amanda well on her next endeavors.
